Somehow someway the year has sped by and here we are at the Fall Equinox. I feel it in the air ever so slightly. It is a subtlety that I have grown accustomed to recognizing, the crisper air and the sun setting a little earlier are two big reminders. This is the time of year that I check in with myself and think about my intention for the year as well as ways in which to solidify that intention so as to embody it for the last stretch until the new year. For this year my intention was to be enveloped in JOY! To see joy in everything and experience it constantly. Life often has a way of creeping in and altering the perception of high vibrational feelings such as joy, but because I created an intention, I therefore had an understanding in my higher consciousness as well as my body that I would inhabit the vibratory field of joy. To do that I used rituals that involve the breath, specific mantras, and envisioning joy at the beginning of the year that would allow me to be able to lift whatever veil would inhabit my consciousness and access the joy that is always available and always here.
Rituals are such an important aspect of reality and in some ways they are simply tools to reignite or remind the body temple what agreements I have made. Rituals are done everyday and are often dismissed as chores or habits. However, the ways you drink your coffee in the morning, or brush your teeth are simple yet important rituals that ignite, fuel, and clean– ultimately they provide comfort and care to your body.
During this sacred time of change it is never too late to create an intention for the rest of the year and to do that with ritual work. What vibratory field would you like to tap into? Love, peace, joy, bliss? Even an intention to keep a cleaner house is sacred and invites love, peace, and joy into your awareness. These divine and empowering qualities bring freedom into your world.
Creating an intention is an incredibly powerful tool that I love to do in community. It is why at the beginning of the year I always host a gathering of family and friends and we write our intentions together. This is a powerful practice because when others witness your declaration it brings life into your intention. When others in the community can hold the vision of your intention then it expands it into your reality. On October 1st at 3 PM in the Los Angeles area, I am happy to host a sacred circle for womxn. We will learn practices to Embody the Goddess as well as set intentions for the last part of the year in community. It is my great Joy to facilitate this workshop and to allow the opening of love, joy, and connection. Will you join? In deep joy and love,
